Trio confirmed at Intel Challenge Kat.
ESL has announced the first batch of female teams invited to compete at Intel Challenge Katowice.
On March 4-5, ESL will be hosting in Katowice a $30,000 CS:GO tournament for female teams, which will take place as part of the IEM World Championship event.
Eight of the finest female teams in the world will be taking part at Intel Challenge Katowice, with five of them being directly invited by ESL. The last three spots will be filled by the leading teams from the European and the North American qualifiers.
CLG Red invited for Intel Challenge Katowice
Without much surprise, ESL has invited WRTP, featuring the majority of the Bad Monkey Gaming team who won last year's tournament in Katowice. The former Games4u side, who recently added Zainab "zAAz" Turkie to their roster, will joined by the winners of the last two ESWC editions, CLG Red and Team Acer, in the tournament.
The final two invites will go to a team from Latin America and one from Asia, ESL revealed.
